I'm not going to nominate us for sainthood but we're the best chance they have. We'll pay for it one way or another. Why not assist in bringing about a stable, democratic government, with a parental hand on the purse strings, to help guide a politcally immature country into the 21st Century? Perhaps I am naive and somewhat Pollyannaish but I'd sure like to give them a chance. It would be nice if people thought their homelands looked promising enought to remain. Who knows what is going on behind the scenes. I have a lot of faith in this Bush administration and their inspired foreign policy to date.

I understand your basic theory, but you doth exaggerate to much....one of the more remarkable, and LEAST reported facts of the last 25 years is the growth of the black middle class in America....despite the best efforts of liberals to stop it.....yes, Jesse and Al are buffoons, and they get all the press and TV time...but the vast majority of blacks that I know, both in business and socially, whenthey are comfortable enough, admit they the two are charlatans...

Thank yo, CW....it's almost as if the action in the far reaches of Asia and the MidEast is designed to draw our attention away from what's happening under our noses....but my paranoia is showing.....would the US be ablt to commit forces in Afghanistan, the Mid East, S America, and Korea.....I think not.....some of the smart folks in the Pentagon must be losing a lot of sleep...

You can no more bribe the human animal of any continent into having civic responsibility if they don't want it, than you can fly by flapping your arms. That can be explained.
The World Bank and the International Monetary Fund routinely blackmail client nations to alter internal policies via structural loans.
Typical demands include: the establishment of planned economies; the nationalization of utilities, major industries, and banking; the creation of an export dependent economy; and the implementation of national birth control policies.
In a nutshell they blackmail countries into establishing socialist based economies, which dooms them to economic failure, and thus greater dependency on the UN, its banks, and the international community.

Who knows what is going on behind the scenes. To help everyone get an idea of what does go on behind the scenes, here is a questionnaire filled out by the congressional representative of my district during his bid for reelection in 2002.
CUNR
It's not something that he publicized.
I invite you to check on your congress person by going to the bottom of that page and clicking on 'check another candidate'. See if (s)he is who you think (s)he is.

Where are Jesse and Al when they're needed in their homeland? The only ones they could sell protection to don't need it and besides they'd probably get a good beating if they tried.

My Representative is Tom DeLay.

I can't tell if that's said with pride, resignation or chagrin!
