oh yeah, I've found the best people to ask about cheap ammo are cops.

My Steyr .40 really did not like the Wolf, I had an unbelievable number of misfires. It likes Load X reloads just fine. I've gotten new stuff like Winchester from Miwall. It likes the Winchester also. I had to give away the Wolf.

I have since decided that it wouldn't kill me to spend a little more money for decent ammo. My sister-in-law's husband is a probation officer, and is a tigher-wad than I am, he buys reloads from Load X. I've been getting wadcutters for my .38 from them as well as 9 mm and have been happy with the product.
