see you all later.....good game

I had to step out for awhile, thus my delayed response. But thank you very much for the history of the Patriots and their name.
Good luck to the Patriots, but...
Go Rams!

This is quite the defensive struggle so far...still 0-0.
Should be that way for at least another hour and a half!
and to think everyone thought the Rams would run up the score early...

Thank you for the photo...it is the closest I will come to a cold Pilsner Urquelle this fine day. The store that sells it also markets liquor, and is CLOSED today under Tennessee state law. When I lived in Maine, there was a facility known as Beverage Warehouse, which had an outstanding selection of imported beer (including Pilsner Urquelle), along with products of the many fine New England microbrewries...I REALLY miss that establishment! I will suffer with a six of Samuel Adams' Creme Stout instead. Enjoy your Urquelle, your dinner, and best of luck to the Patriots in this evening's game!

Geez...I am out of the loop today...there is NO 'e' at the end of 'Urquell'.

still 0-0 but ken lay has opted out of tetifying, so bill clinton is ahead, because he was going to be named.
Sorry everybody, I was away for a bit. Any update on the score?

Bump to critique my pre-game opinion...
Well obviously I'm biased but I pick the Pats to win 27-24. I say the Patriots game plan will be to stop Marshall Faulk and force Warner to throw. I see Warner throwing at least two interceptions and the Patriots converting those into 10 points - a TD and a field goal. I also see another spectacular play on special teams. Maybe another blocked field goal or a punt return for a touchdown. I think Warner is a little banged-up. He hasn't done a lot the past few games and has relied much more on Marshall Faulk. If the Pats can stop Faulk, they've got a real chance to win this game.
The game went about as I expected but even I never expected such a dramatic finish. The Patriots stuffed Marshall Faulk and forced the banged up Warner to throw. Result: Three turnovers (and a fourth that was called back). The key to the game was that the Patriots didn't turn over the ball once. Had they done so, the Rams would likely be champions tonight.
That 99-yard fumble return by the Pats that was called back? That hurt. And it allowed the Rams to get back into the game. But then again, had it been allowed to stand, we would have had a blowout rather than the most exciting game I can remember.

Congratulations, Sam. You called it. The Patriots came out with a lot of heart and determination. Their coach gave them an excellent game plan that kept the Rams guessing until 1 1/2 quarters left. I think the Rams played it much too passive on offense. When they really went for the jugular their offense clicked.
However, I did get quite a few things right. Observe:
The Rams defense will be the real key. They will score two touchdowns themselves and will overwhelm the inadequate Patriots offense (The Pats have only scored two offensive touchdowns in two playoff games). Warner will again have over 300 yards passing, and the Rams will win going away, 42-17.
I almost exactly predicted the Patriots score, and they again only scored one touchdown on offense. Warner also threw for over 300 yards. The problem: the Rams couldn't score on offense, and the defense got no turnovers.

Congratulatons on a great victory. Great play by the corners, and the poise shown by Brady on the game winning job was tremendous.

Regarding #8: I probably missed it because the Broncos were'nt playing and I was not paying attention. :-)
To: SkyPilot
Regarding #18, you were wrong on both counts. The commercials this year were the worst ever.
