Here is a good summary of the OKC events. Officer Terrance Yeakey is not only a hero in the broadest sense, he is an example of the "silent" heroes and role models of the black community. May he R.I.P.

From a previous thread.

_____________________________________________________

There is video tape evidence that shows Franey walking around outside the Murrah building without a bandage on his arm and then later with a bandage on his arm. The video was taken by deputy Melvin Sumner shortly after the bombing and it was shown to KTOK news director Jerry Bohnen in early 1997 by Michelle Moore in my presence in a conferene room at OKC Community college.

The problem is that in my informed opinion Bohnen is covering up for the FEDs in the OK bombing case and he would never report the video or other damning evidence in the case he was given and had verified.

I listened to the whole of these interviews. It seems like the government (or someone else in power) has gone to great lengths to try to prevent this guy from telling what he knew about the circumstances in OKC the day he went in to rescue folks. His ex-wife seems pretty credible to me, and not a "tin foil hat" kind of person. Skeptics should listen to the interviews.

I agree completely. Thank you for your reply. This is a story that needs to be told. Too many people know the names of those we would all like to forget, and not enough people know the story of Terrance and Tonia Yeakey.

Thought this is a good time to be reminded of Patrick Henry's words:

"WE ARE APT TO SHUT OUR EYES AGAINST A PAINFUL TRUTH... FOR MY PART, I AM WILLING TO KNOW THE WHOLE TRUTH; TO KNOW THE WORST; AND TO PROVIDE FOR IT."

Thank you for that quote. That is the first time I have read it and I appreciate the character of Patrick Henry even more. I think I will read more about Mr. Henry.

Thank you for posting that information. Of all of the deaths that happened due to OKC, this Law Enforcement Officer's death has effected me the most. He died in a horrible, horrible way - but he was a hero to the end.

Thanks, honway, you do great work. I am familiar with this story, but will have to find some time to listen to the interview.

Off topic: do you believe Trentadue's death (murder) in prison was related in any way to the OKC bombing?

"I thought JimRob just warned us to not post tin foil hat stuff.

So just what is it that qualifies this post for "tin foil hat" status?

Is the information factually incorrect? I don't claim to know either way, but automatically suspect anyone jumping into the fray so quickly, before any discussion, offering no evidence of his own and labelling this as "tin foil".

So what's the story? you know something or are you just trying to discredit the story?

I do believe there is very substantial evidence that indicates Trentadue was murdered. However, I don't know enough about the case to establish a connection between McVeigh and Trentadue and I know of no other way Trentadue could be connected to OKC. Comparing a timeline of McVeigh's places of incarceration with Trentadue's might reveal something, but I have not done that.

Kenneth Michael Trentadue was an inmate with a history of bank robbery in federal custody who had been transferred to Oklahoma City for a parole hearing. He is alleged to have beaten himself and then hung himself to death. What is remarkable is that he was alleged to have performed this is the space of twenty minutes. According to the Bureau Of Prisons report he had to attempt the hanging twice. Trentadue's family pursued the case and the result was a civil rights investigation that included an investigation by the DOJ Office of Inspector General.

In an eerie parallel of the Trentadue case, Richard Wayne Guthrie a member of the Aryan Republican Army a terrorist group linked to McVeigh was allegedly found hanging in his cell in Newport, Ky. Guthrie was being held on charges of bank robbery in connection with his actions while associated with the ARA. The ARA, also known as the Midwestern bank robbers were a band of white supremacist's who raised funds for the movement by robbing banks. Guthrie was found beaten and hanging in his cell after he had made it known he intended to tell all that he knew about his former associates. Like Trentadue there are nagging problems with the official story on Guthrie, in particular the grate he was alleged to have been hanging from was 13 feet off the floor with no means in the cell for Guthries to reach it.

I always thought Trentadue was in for a drug charge. The bank robbery angle may be worth exploring. If my memory serves correctly, Guthrie announced before the court at one of his hearings that he had information concerning the OKC bombing.

Thanks alot Honway. I didn't want to take your thread off topic, but I hope others might provide their insights.

The Trentadue case was one of the first I read about on FreeRepublic way back when. And I've been here ever since.
