"And QUIT dredging up old communist propaganda to smear our conservatives.Jim:
Marx and Engles were foursquare for Free Trade. Their participation in the "Corn Law" debates in England in 1848 are historical correct.
Your feelings about using their comments during Free Trade threads?
Regards.

And, while I'm thinking about it, QUIT trashing our conservative candidates. If you want to criticize someone's position on some policy, have at it. But do not trash or smear the man. That would include Browne, Buchanan, Bush, Keyes, et al, or whomever else may be your favorite trashee (examples listed in alphabetical sequence). The idea is to get more conservatives elected, not to trash the ones you don't like. If you want to trash someone, make it a Democrat. Thank you.
Jim
I guess JimRob is not such a bad guy as you thought. His request to the anti-conservative smearmeisters here on FR to stop smearing conservative hero, Pat Buchanan, is much appreciated.

"It looks to me like the 400-comment threads that pop up occasionally about the Apollo moon landings being a hoax and similar fare have worn out their welcome." Ron Brown says either dig him up, or leave him alone. He's getting a headache already.

Hi there:
When will we be able to again access our preferences? I was logged out and when I logged back in my preferences are all screwed up. I tried to put them back to normal and it said "currently disabled." Please help me change back my preferences. I am a conservative and cannot stand change. I can't stand the way they are now. Please help me.

Thanks Jim! You are right about the recent posts that are "presumed conservative" but attack conservative values and politicians. I find such posts offensive and discouraging. They don't deserve our attention.

It occurs to me that maybe we need a front-end-of-brain filter like what used to appear using TRN on the early days of usenet.
This program posts news articles to thousands of machines throughout the enter (sic) civilized world. Your message will cost the net hundreds if not thousands of dollars to send everywhere. Please be sure you know what you are doing. Are you absolutely sure you want to do this? y/n
Might I propose:

Thanks too, JimRob, for giving so many of us, otherwise seemingly powerless,
a weapon for fighting the war on terrorism, and the enemies of freedom and our country.

I am still fuzzy on what's OK and what's not OK. Jim Robinson asked
"Please try to stay on topic (politics)." Yet, I see a lot of threads such as
The Neverending Story (The New Christian Chronicles) posted without complaint on a regular basis and they most definitely are not about politics.
When I posted a thread about a popular brand of software which I felt may be biased concerning which websites it restricted, the thread was pulled. I feel that such an issue is relevant for discussion on this forum because it is an example of how the scourge of "political correctness" intrudes on our daily life. I wasn't trying to start a racist flamethrowing contest (which is why I am guessing it was pulled), I was trying to bring attention to what I feel is a legitimate problem that the liberals are constantly and quietly forcing upon us. Can you please clarify?

And I get all of this crap multiple times from various 'hit lists'!
