Don't forget how germy cash money is, hey, it can even spread anthrax! Terrorist can use it, one more reason to get rid of it.

Everybody knows that the mafia, drug dealers, and terrorists depend on cash. So if you are an honest citizen, why should it worry you that the government can observe your transactions, assuming they are all legal?

Plus, I am sure that the govt will put strong safeguards in place to prevent the misuse of this information.

I am with you on the prospect of the "new money" which will be "no money" - the cashless society.

Did you know this has been discussed since back in the 70's? I am old enough to remember those discussions.

Back in the late 70's many people thought that the "new money" was imminent. Why? Because our economic crisis - primarily brought on by the Jimmy Carter nightmare of the 76-80 years but also brought on by some of the "control the economy" measures of the Nixon/Ford years - seemed so grave.

Then what happened? A miracle of God's grace? Yes. The miracle's name was Reagan. Reagan was elected because of the nightmare that was Carter. Reagan was a Republican. He was different from Carter and Ford and Nixon. Sanity took hold - somewhat...though even Reagan was not perfect.

But the "new money" threat disappeared for 20 years.

Now it's back - evidently. What will bring its likelihood into fruition? Economic collapse of America. What will bring that eventuality into reality? Continued resistance by the Demoncreep led Senate to any talk of sane tax policies!

You are very right about the fact that voting Democrat will bring on the horrors that you oppose fast - lightening fast.

Go ahead.

I just can't do that.

No, you don't have to justify your opinions. You are right.

And you are also right that I have an agenda. This is it: THE TRUTH.

See how easy that game is to play? It MIGHT even give SOME people a insight into why the gooberment has had so many programs the last 30 years or so that had the opposite of the intended effect. For instance, there are MORE drugs being sold now than when the WOD started. There is more drug-related violence now that when the WOD started.

That's why I am here also. And, I don't have an escape pod.

If I listen to you guys enough, maybe I will find a way to get one. But, I have loved ones who are old and some are sick and if TSHTF, I can't leave them. So, guess it's here or nowhere for moi.

Back in the late 70's many people thought that the "new money" was imminent.

Actually,it's almost a staple of science fiction books going all the way back to the 30's. They all seem to call it "credits". Everybody always goes to a machine and uses their "intergalactic ID card" to transfer "credits" from one account to another. Of course, the sci-fi books saw credits as a neccessary thing for trans-solar system banking, not as a means of gooberment control. The thing is,it can't be one without being the other.

ARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!

Did ya have to wake me up from my nap? I mean, whaddaya want to do here, depress me?

It seems that each day or so brings a little joy, and a lot of woe. I feel like Fox Mulder sometimes... "I want to believe!" I have a fingernail's hold on the hope that all will be well, but the abyss of inevitability yawns wide and hungry below me.

We'll be fighting in the streets
With our children at our feet
And the morals that they worship will be gone
And the men who spurred us on
Sit in judgement of all wrong
They decide and the shotgun sings the song

Say it ain't so!

Great work, nb. That this guy gets a paycheck ultimately underwritten by us is the added insult.

On the subject of being an "authentic Christian", There's too much evidence that it's easy to fake.

Jim Jones comes to mind the quickest.

Kool-aid anyone?

Sorry Freedom, but, "By their fruits ye shall know them"

PS: Maybe it has something to do with gullability and misinformation

I doubt that 99% of the citizens know what REALLY goes on in the "West Wing"

We hear about it too late to respond. As in: Executive (unconstitional) Orders!
