I had it posted before but I removed it. Amherst flies the UN flag on the flag pole directly in front of Town Hall. It is a 4x6 flag, flown on a 30' flag pole. There is an American Flag flown closer to the street, a 5x8 one, on a 40' flagpole, but right in front of town hall is the UN flag. Not a joke.
