the entire text is beyond your ken and over your head.

If you cannot argue your rights and have to resort to pointing at the Constitution and going "See!", then your rights are effectively non-existant.

All of this.. Law, Rights.. has to be understood for what it really is: It is like a magic spell whose delivery, incantation and conviction determines its effectiveness at convincing the audiences mind. It has no reality but in the mind, and the mind it speaks to is below our concious control.

I am reminded of a statement: "If you gave him audience, listened to his arguments, you would be led step by step to the undeniable conclusion. The only escape was to not listen."

Fool. I am one of the powers that be. And I do so enjoy watching the small-minded, frustrated and desperate who haven't been able to find freedom and success in this great land of ours resort to the "it's the man that's keeping me down" philosophy. I guess we can classify losers as a minority group as well.

Emancipate yourself, refuse to pay your taxes, publish manifestos… but if you cross me in court, my lawyers will crush your centuries old common law declarations like the pieces of onion skin they are. Your WWF Peoples' Champion T-Shirt is still going to put you back $9.99 plus tax at WalMart, no matter what silly piece of paper you print and sign.

BTW, it was the people, through the US government, that funded and developed the very technology that allows crap like this to be published. But then irony is never the strong suit of the self-deluded.

Baaaaaaa…

One of the powers that be huh? By the tone of your post it appears you detest those who are not of your status, who have not acheived the success you have.

Normally I would think you were bluffing, but your arrogance and condescension give me pause. Either you are an exceptionally good actor or you are a little, little man puffed up by his position.

Lets suppose, as you say, this entire thread is a self-delusional daydream, and 'your lawyers' will do as you say and yank a knot in the tail of these self-proclaimed sovereigns...

Why do you care? How does it harm you? From your post you obviously hold these "losers" in contempt so why not let them get thier bubble popped by the obviously impervious laws, courts and lawyers?

One would think that would fill you with glee.

Here is what I think, if you are indeed a 'power that be':

First, you think you have a patent on the truth, you think you define the truth, but in the back of your mind you know that the truth in these matters is a fluid thing -- the truth that matters, ultimately, is what the PEOPLE BELEIVE and not the powers that be, like yourself. And that threatens you, maybe not so much in a professional way, but more so in an egotistical way: to be forced to recognise you are NOT a divine oracle with mystical insight into some ultimate reality.

Your fear is that all your alchemy, all your study, will become null and void. A farce.

So tell me sir, how I am wrong. Blow some dust in my eyes.

Actually, what offends me is the "snake oil" your peddling. You start with a false premise, then offer promises and conclusions that are foolish, and even worse, potentially harmful to the very life and liberties you claim to be so concerned about protecting.

As to being one of the powerful, I guess that depends on one's definition. By most peoples', I would say probably. Self-made. I provide a living for a number of people through my company, and my lawyer, accountant, agent, manager and assistant are happy I'm around. However, I don't define success by the amount I have in the bank, and class warfare is, frankly, boring, especially since I've moved through them all in the past twenty years.

As to blowing dust, my Filipino houseboy, Punji, deals with that and he has the day off.

Careful whom you address as 'fool'.

HUMAN Beings Need government every bit as badly as snakes need teats.

I know from whence freedom, liberties, and justice come......and some of will yet surrender even our lives for for what we believe and know to be right. Never forget that your trousers ascend your statist a$$, one leg at a time.
