"Over the past 10 to 15 years, there's been a concerted effort by anti-choice groups to intimidate medical schools into eliminating abortion training," says NARAL's Michelman. "Our concern," she adds, "is that we'll run out of providers."

God works in mysterious ways. As abortion providers dwindle -- for whatever reason -- abortion will decrease. The other statistic I like is that medical students taking elective abortion has gone down in the past 15 years from 23% to 12%, a drastic decrease. This is good news.

Of course, it's not enough ... only a complete end to abortion will be enough. But this is a start.

Perhaps the overwhelming majority of the residents will object to learning how to perform an abortion because of moral objections ... let us pray for them to see the Truth and object to this evil act.

New York, Capital of Hypocrisy: Bloomberg is a more industrious, efficient, and cold-blooded killer of human beings than Mohammed Atta, yet he's the new Mayor. At least Atta and companions had to SNEAK UP on their victims. Bloomberg spent $65 Million ANNOUNCING BEFOREHAND that he's going to kill as many hundreds of thousands of people as he possibly can. Bloomberg and those who voted for him BECAUSE he promised to kill babies will find themselves far deeper in a much hotter place in Hell than the pathetic 19 hijackers of September 11th.

Well bloody great. Looks like New Yorkers really did have the worst of the litter to pick from, there was Mark Green who had Bill and Hillary's backing, and there was Bloomberg, who is obviously a Communist in businessman's clothing.

No doubt I will be attacked for this statement......Better to provide abortions in hospitals than store fronts that have proliferated in many poor sections of the burroughs. I am pro life, but the law states that abortions are legal.

Glad a Republican got elected.

Good thing it wasn't a libertarian.

All kidding aside, this is just one more piece of the Republican party that is going ever leftward over the past few months. Not bashing anybody at FR, as most here are staying true to their Conservative roots. It's the party on a national scene, they see the polls, they worry about losing to democrats, so they try to get as close as they can without losing the Republican label.
