if one trains the way they will fight, they will fight the way they train.

Can you find a quote from a named freeper that doesn't ultimately blame harris and klebold? If they exist, they the rare exception. And, it seems, you do not want to find out if a cop screwed up or not.

Harris and Klebold were never convicted of any crime related to the Columbine shootings in any court of law of which I'm aware. Accordingly, under the constitution that I'm sworn to protect and defend, they're innocent until convicted in such a proceding.

I of course have little doubt that the pair was in fact involved in the shootings as perpetrators. And I'm just as certain that others were involved, assisting them to an equal or lesser degree of culpability. That includes many of the Columbine-area cops, local, county and federal, covering up their own criminally negligent and reckless misconduct.

Ok, I accept that "accidents/mistakes" can happen...howver...

THE COP HAD A 9mm FULL AUTO! He HELD THE TRIGGER AND EMPTIED OFF 51 ROUNDS! Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is a clip and 1/2....meaning he RELOADED and KEPT ON FIRING! Where was his situational awareness, and target acquisition training?!?!

The same place as that of the SWATzie raiders inside the school who sprayed full-auto fire down a hallway and entered rooms via *clearing with fire* techniques believing that the hostile shooters were still alive, and knowing that live student victims also remained inside the school.

Either that, or they saw the lawsuits and possible criminal charges coming, and were trying to murder potential witnesses.

I'm not very familiar with the what happened at Columbine. Perhaps the cops were negligent. In such a case they should be fired and or prosecuted. If we don't want innocent people getting shot accidentally by the police, then we need to get rid of the police or at least take their guns away.

I agree 100%.

If you listen to the likes of Dane on this issue, you will know even less than you do now...because in his view, even if the Cops were negligent, it's still Klebold and Harris' fault, not the Cops who may have slaughtered an innocent kid.

However, I believe there is an alternative to your supposition that we disarm Police or get rid of them entirely...
Make them accountable for their actions in the line of duty, and make sure they are trained to a level commensurate with said duties.

Which means if you are SWAT/HRT or the like, you qualify WEEKLY at a certified range to keep your skills at optimal levels.

Which means you PUBLICLY expose incompetent Cops and Management that are Political cronies of the corrupt Civilian Governments.

No more OMERTA, no covering for Donut-Eaters so they can get their pensions. Police are Public Officials, but WE are their bosses. This has somehow been lost in that last years. They are to UPHOLD laws...EQUALLY!

That is all we ask, but as I have argued with Dane and his LEO-Uber-Alles crowd, they seem to have a problem applying the same laws to themselves as we have to obey.

I'm sure someone soon will pop up with the canard of "How tough the job is", or "I am a Cop-Hater"...any takers on the over/under?

"Blame" isn't the issue: the issue is rank cowardice by hundreds of heavily armed and armored law enforcement officers. The issue is the possibility that one or more of those officers killed one (or more) of the victims. The issue is a sheriff blocking an investigation, rather than pursuing the truth.

The two student psychos are burning in hell where they belong - Now the it's time to bring the law breakers among our law enforcement people to justice, if called for and the cowards that stood around rather than risk their lives should be recognized and drummed out of the police.

You can make cops accountable all day long. You can make them train 24 hours a day. It is still not going to make accidents go away.

I've seen many cops held accountable for their actions. I know it's hard to believe, but it does happen.

Nobody believes it happens until it happens to them. It is sad to sit in court and listen to the lies.
