I still think he owes you an apology and a retraction. That was about the lowest thing I've seen anybody claim on this board. I think he proved to everybody that saw it what he is really all about .... BUT it's unethical to talk about him without him here ... and I would prefer not suffer his presence.
Thanks for your comments ... they are appreciated

In a Libertarian society am I not free to do with my belongings as I wish?
So, I guess there is no difference between our society and that which the "other libs" would impose on us..

I like the Libertarians, and they are right about 80% of the time. But the other 20% is not only a minor disagreement, it's a total impasse.I'm not a Libertarian. What's the 20% that is a total impasse for you?

Or maybe like my kids when they were 6 asserting a belief that they are sure is true in the face of facts and real truths.
Either way, the result is the same.

I just don't like people making up phony, non-existant "rights". And yet we read from the ideologues that people have a supposed "right" to manufacture, market, and consume any drug at any time in any amount for any reason, even unto death.

It boils down to social issues..
Do a search for "drug war" and all will be revealed.

Oh ... I think Aggie is still a minor Drug Warrior ... he IS for decriminalizing Pot though. So there is hope for him. BUT there are others out here that even if God himself came down from heaven and said to legalize they would STILL be for the WOsD. Me thinks it might pay their rent and groceries

Suicide, however, is a different story, as it is irreversable. But whose fault is that? Might makes right? The fact that a person can do something equates with a right to do it? People can do lots of wrong things, but we don't elevate those to a human right therefore.
To: tex-oma
Yes, I realize that, but I also recognize when it's time to pack up and go home. CJ and Roscoe are hopelessly entrenched in their ignorance or their paychecks, not sure which.
I do enjoy a meaningful debate, but arguing with CJ and Roscoe is indeed tilting at windmills.

And yet we read from the ideologues that people have a supposed "right" to manufacture, market, and consume any drug at any time in any amount for any reason, even unto death. The right to manufacture, sell, and comsume is a legitimate right, because in doing so, I am neither bothering or asking anything of anyone else. The right to innocence in non-existant, because in order to exercise it, I would, by defination, be requiring others to behave in a particular way. Get it?

Yes.. We have very few differences actually...
But our differences are very prounounced..

The right to manufacture, sell, and comsume is a legitimate right, because in doing so, I am neither bothering or asking anything of anyone else. Your supposed "right" to destroy yourself infringes on my right to pursue happiness, being sad at having to sit by and watch people needlessly suffer and die.
