India, Pakistan deploy missiles

Pakistan is acting up because of our troops in the area. They think it is their trump card. I do not doubt India would tell the U.S. "get the f*ck out of there" if they were gonna get serious in a two step..

China has to be licking its lips at the thought of an Indian/Pakistan war, its a win win situation for them. Pakistan destroys a good chunk of Chinas enemy...Indias military, India completely destroys Pakistans military. Pakistan has to buy more military hardware from China. I wouldnt be surprised if China doesnt try to lob a missile or something at one of the two countries and make it look like one of them did it to start a war.

You're living in the past but ignoring the present re democratic India, while you should be reviewing the past a bit more carefully re Pakistan. I.e., we secured their cooperation by point-blank threat: you're with us or we rightfully lump you with the Taliban and you'll suffer the same consequences.

The few troops we have in Pakistan could be quickly withdrawn should we deem it necessary.

I pray the current situation unfolds peacefully, but if it doesn't, I hope India crushes Pakistan. Period.

India signed a pact with Russia and China against us a few years back.

Which seems so bizarre, given that India has a far better potential for true affinity with the West than does most of the rest of Asia. Why would India throw its lot in with the still-rabid Communist dog of China, other than to try to buy them off? Unlike Islam, Hindu thought has no world-dominating aspirations, and generally couldn't care less about Christian nations. And the USA has never threatened India with anything.

Pakistan just arested the prime suspect in the bombing of India's parliment, let's hope things can settle down a bit.

It doesn't mean anything this guy is in house-arrest. He is supported by ISI and Pakistani forces so he can still run his operation. Its just a gimmick by Pakistani government.
