In the article a guy named Van de Ven he said there are two versions of islam, one most muslims do, and the one he and OBL do, the fundamentalistic one.

OBL is a member of the Wahabi sect. Wahabis believe that they are the only true Moslems. They view other Moslems as mere infidels.

If I were going to pin the WTC/Pentagon bombings on one man ...
If I were going to blame the worldwide network of Soviet-sponsored terror on one man ...
If I were going to premise my "hunt" through Yemen, Somalia, Sudan (but not Iraq) on the whereabouts of one man ...

If I were going to balance all of those actions on the head of just one man, I suppose I'd want the absolute control one has over the dead ... as exemplified, I suppose, by the revisionists who rewrite history or "evolve" new meanings of the word "Is".

I find it hard to believe Osama's wasn't dead before the first plane hit. If the entire American public can accept without question the hiding of Cheney or others for reasons of security, I see no reason Osama's faithful would not likewise be interested in his "security". The West's continued focus on OBL making him just as real for them as us ... only different.
