Well atleast you stayed up to da bet. To bad the bears couldn't throw the ball 4 yards. I would of gladly given out money like water had the bears won, now i am suffering depression because our offensive coordinater should be coaching detroit, or a high school team.

No prob. In Shoop's defense, it is rather hard to throw deep against essentially 6 corners in the dime (both Sharper and Jue are converted cornerbacks). Even in the blowout the Vikes put on the Pack, they couldn't go deep.

Besides, how did the Bears make 9-3? Midway Miracles and a 5th-place schedule don't explain all of it.

Now, we Cheddar Brains need a win out of the Bears against the frozen Buccaneers (and a bit more help) to clinch a playoff spot this next weekend. As much as it pains me to say it, Go Bears!!!, go Indy, go Philly (while St. Louis could win instead of Philly and guarantee a spot for the Pack, I want the Rams out-of-doors sometime after New Year's Day weekend).

Schoop is the stupid offensive coordinater. Jauron our beloved coach is a moron. And I am a disgruntled Bears fan. If you want the Bears to win pray that the temperature on Sunday is below 40 degrees, the Bucs don't win when it is sub 40 degrees. I'd rather freeze my butt off Sunday at the game than lose to the Bucs. The bad thing is last time I went to the Bears Bucs game Warren Sapp threatened to beat me up. I sit on the opposing team side and get to harass them the whole game... especially the kicker.

One order of cold, coming up.

As for Sapp; he's the kind of guy you'd really like to see on your side, and not just because he has a load of talent <VBG>

Bears back on top following the Packer 'Tumble to the Titans'. I get the feeling that neither the Packers nor the Bears are NFC Champion material. "Lambs" the best right now, but they'll probably lose to the Saints tonight. Putting us right back to where we were 2 weeks ago. Lambs, Flatliners, Packers, Bears, Eagles and 1 other in the playoffs. Today, I would say Rams/Steelers and Rams in a rout, but..... (it ain't over 'til it's over---Yogi Berra)

Well actually if the Rams lose tonight, the Bears will have the number 1 spot in the NFC due to the fact that we defeated San Fran, and also we defeated Tampa twice, who beat the Rams. We are one game about Green Bay in the standings and I believe that the Bears will win the rest of the games this season, which would give us a first round bye along with home field advantage. After yesterdays game you can't say the Bears are a bad team, because we have nothing more to prove. yeah we lost to Green Bay, but I personally blame the coaching staff for the two Green Bay losses, the Bears could have easily won both of those games had we had been more productive on offense. But what I really want is to go to New Orleans on February 3rd.

The Rams stay on top. The New Orleans coaches 'tricks' cost New Orleans the game last night, IMHO. New Orleans can play with the Rams better than anyone, but they lacked the confidence to take them 'head up' last night. I don't know why. Looks like a 9-7 may get the last NFC wild card now. New Orleans, Tampa, Giants???
