You'll have to explain to us all how it can be meaningfully asserted that someone has "betrayed" the Chinese Communists or their "Party", hehe. Or haven't you read
Darkness At Noon?

CCP abolished Chinese culture totally. One of the most important element in Chinese culture is freedom of religion. CCP does not allow it. The basic root of Chinese culture "Four safeguards and eight virtues" does not exist in China anymore. A lot of people from Taiwan see mainland Chinese as commnuist Chinese, not the Chinese the world knew 60 years ago.
I must admit that Ah Hui is the best politician. On the surface, he is just like Clinton, nothing bad can stick to him. He created a new party so he can take away a significant portion of KMT's votes. He can not just join DPP because that would really make people despise him. At least now he claims KMT has drifted away, not his fault he setup a new party.
You are right that Lien is totally incompetent. In Chinese's saying KMT's "qi" is dimishing and I don't think many in Taiwan respect KMT anymore, besides it was a "mainlander's" party.

Lee betrayed the CCP in the first place. Why did the KMT trust a traitor?Because he is the best actor in the world.
He repented his error and sweared to be loyal to the KMT and ROC and worked very diligently for the ROC goverment.
He was very young at that time. KMT learnt a lesson from the defeat by CCP, don't drive away any good scholar. Lee got a PH.D from Cornell.

CCP took Tibet by force and people. CCP sent more than half a million "LAO GAI" labors to Tibet in the 60's and they used force to kill anybody against CCP.
I heard that there are less pure Tibetans in Tibet than Hans.

From tallhappy's post:
Coming About - Those who said Taiwan would not get a fleet of submarines from may be proven Wrong:
"Some industry analysts believe it would even be possible to assemble a team to build a world-class submarine in Taiwan, particularly if some of the best talent from Russia and Europe could be recruited. Senior officials in Taipei suggest that Taiwan would want at least half the submarines built in a local shipyard...."
Australia too?

They have been planning on building a lot of that stuff right in Taiwan for a long time. They have a big shipyard right there.
The orginal news articles about 'selling submarines' in the end should have read 'America sells Taiwan some submarine engines and a few electronic devices...'

"Qi"ah yes:
The Republic of China Macropneumatic Electic Boat Company.
Like the sound of it.
Kinda rolls off the tongue. Big potential market too. Like to see them bankrupt the Globalist, hypocritical, Socialist Dutchwho make and sell diesel submarines on the one hand but refuse to sell even the designs to the ROC, and host an international criminal tribunal to prosecute other people's "war crimes."
Now about the extermination of the Dodo and Tasmaniansnot even to mention Indonesia.

Yeah, sure.
What a perfect industry for an island nation. I smell a whole fleet coming on...
