That's what I meant. I'm not pretending the AF community is innocent of anything.

I have learned so much from the people on this site. There are brilliant, talented, informed individuals and I admire so many of them! I learn from those people on a daily basis. I have some favorites and consider their wisdom to that of a favored "aunt or uncle", which to me is a compliment. I consider the people on this site, and you, as my internet family.
We have made it through Clinton. I needed you during that time, because I hated him and his regime so much. We need you still, because there is still so much in the world and the media that isn't all that it appears.
We need a site for truth, to explore and to search out the answers to puzzling situations. I still get a buzz when the tin foil hats come out. I actually like that :) I will contribute. The check is in the mail. Thank you. I will help out yearly as I tend to forget monthly donations.
You just want it to get to 3,000, don't you?
Come to think of it, my banishment is torturous, was carried out by a secret squad, and involved a quick, unappealable judgement.
Pshaw. This group of Z2, IHC, Arator, etc, seems to have the knack of being over-dramatic. The above post, while not made directly by Arator, just confirms that point. When "banishment" from a Internet discussion site is considered torture, that nicely sums up the cognitive facilties of those making or forwarding such tripe.
The difference is, he didn't go to other sites and badmouth FR. He probably just quietly lobbied, apologized to Jim, maybe even got a letter of recommendation from another poster.
Look, I understand pride, and you guys seem like proud men. And when you say "Come to think of it, my banishment is torturous, was carried out by a secret squad, and involved a quick, unappealable judgement" I fully understand your point, but just don't agree that it's so harsh or so mysterious. I've never been banned (I have been warned, though) and I have not hit the abuse button, but crap happens. Sometimes you say the wrong things, and sometimes they are read on the wrong day. The difference is how you handle it from that point on. The fact that A+Bert got so many chances to come back only proves that it's not insufferable, and it's not necessarily permanent. You folks should be commended for not taking up new screen names and defending your beliefs and your principles, but as I am sure you know, there is sometimes a price to pay for that.
So that post does indeed speak for itself... but it probably speaks different things to me than to you. To me it basically says that you did not get enough cheese with your whine. You handled the situation poorly from the get go and can't see it. I wish the site could be more free, and tolerate internal dissent better (just ignore it) but it's not my call to make. At this point it seems like you know what to expect, and you have to make up your minds whether you will take it or leave it.
(Scared ya, didn't I? LOL.)
You'll find him posting at FRU Reunion (http://www.delphi.com/Reunionx1) and/or Original Dissent (http://www.originaldissent.com).
Sure!
Sure!
Sure!
Sure!
Sure!
I see you are holding down the fort. I also note Arator is still posting - must be up to around 80-90 posts since that time yesterday he stated he had no intention of posting further.
Let's hope that he gets the attention he so needs, then perhaps he will stop insisting on telling others what to do with their property - as FR is the property of Jim.
I know that the ownership of property and the freedom to do with it as one pleases may not seem fair to many such as Z2, IHC, Arator, etc. I really feel for them. They seems infatuated with FR. That is actually a sign of the impact the FR has - when folks who dislike the running of FR, appear to be addicted to FR, with the primary purpose appearing to be undermining the operation and viability of FR.
ROFLMAO!!! Good one!
