A good 48 hours..I hope I can stay awake for that long. I love a good food fight! (it's just like Animal House)

The way you say things around here, what was I to think Harry. You're not the most reputable poster on here, you know. He used to be reputable, something must of happened to him.
He certainly doesn't handle it as well with whatever he has as Jim Robinson has, who has muscular dystrophy and is wheel chair bound, and at the same time having his wife suffer a debilitating stroke.

For definitive proof of harrowup's insanity, one need only look to this, his latest nonsensical rant. I rest my case. For a guy who is glorying in dropping hints about the great Gargantua, talking about "unmistakeable style" and such-like, you certainly turned dumb quick when harrowup dropped oldtimer/insider references. That's just "insanity". **snicker** ;-)

He can't resist rebutting your arguments over and over and over and over, even though he WON the argument HUNDREDS of posts ago. That, of course, is YOUR opinion. That is, unless you need to run back over to the AF site and ask eschoir what to say or do next.

Yea, sad indeed. FR is an intellectual moonscape compared to the FR of old. Ah, those were the days... Ah yes, but you seem to have traveled by shank's mare to enlighten us of the disparity of our discourse. Thank you.

You know Harry, although you are absolutely nuts, you really are too smart and too good natured with too much of a developed sense of humor (part of it is not taking oneself too seriously) to get banned if you put the slightest effort into avoiding it. What went wrong? In any event, it is FR's loss, because many of your posts were a heck of a lot of fun, and some nuts, and some both. Take care.

...But if those who want it to be gone lose out in the debate, then I'd say they should just go away themselves, or, in the very least, shut up and quit whining about it."
NO WAY do I want Free Republic to go away! Are you KIDDING????? I can't believe some of these whining victim mentalities with their stupid "complaints". If they don't like it here, they need to leave. Let them start their own web site.
Thanks, Jim and the rest of you who devote so much time, effort, and resources to keep Free Republic up and running so well. You all are MUCH appreciated by the vast majority of us.

I stand corrected. I remember the pre-election days, and you are totally correct.

I would like to read that particular passage in the Patriot Act. Could you point it out for me? Or maybe post that section? Thanks, oh and here's a link...

Very interesting.
To: Torie
Hi Torie. Good to see you again. How's the FR's most articulate Neo-con been doing of late?
To: Jethro Tull
I wondered where the ol Populist had gone....
To: ofMagog
Well said my dear friend. Thank you for being in my life and I too am grateful to FR for so many things.

Add me to the list of people who would pay an annual subscription fee. $50 would be a no-brainer. Maybe $75. Might start to choke at $100 but would probably still pay. (I donated more than that in 2000.)
Free Republic is more valuable to me than cable or daily newspaper, both of which cost more than $100/year.

Also, what kind of Conservative news forum goes rah, rah, kill 'em all, and agrees to every bit of restrictive legislation passed or considered. Get a grip people. Excellent and probing questions, my fellow Kansan! Please email me at aratorfr@yahoo.com. It's important for you to be plugged into the email FReeper grapevine, as FReepers who ask excellent and probing questions have been known to just suddenly disappear (and not of their own choosing). If I have your email addy, at least I can throw you a lifeline should you ever need it and save you from FReeper oblivion.

I just got this on my AIM:
Well, I know, but if FR is so awful, why are they lurking around in cyberspace just waiting for the chance to post once again? Why don't they go spend their time doing something more productive?
You'd think they would, wouldn't you? I mean, as soon as Jim said he would let them back on, here they were.
