Matthews believes in everything the Clintons stand for yet he seems to really hate them. I wonder why.

I think their power lies in the media and the basic stupidity of the American public. They just want things spoon fed to them. The media is more than willing to accomodate them. But I look at it this way. We were becoming complacent and lazy. There was nothing left to fight for, nothing to fear outside of our own backyard. So the public let things on the other side of the fence take care of themselves. Well....we got Clinton. We got a fallen stockmarket. We got a recession. We got 9-11. We got the scare of our lives....a giant wake up call. Thank God almighty things happened in that order so that Americans can look back and see the consequence of complacency with Clinton still within view. Now we have to hope that they stay on their toes. Let's hope women return hope from the workplace to take care of their kids. Let's hope that being struck to the core means we, as a nation, will require something better.
YIkes! Remember trying to say that character mattered? And people would just laugh at us!!! Maybe now they get it.

Thanks. Yes, I have heard Hitchens say that too. I just think there is more to it than what Hitchens has said publically. I appreciate your post reminding me of that. ;)

Possibly lower than whale shit on the deepest ocean floor? OR: lower than toe jam on the lowest microbe in the lowest cesspool in the lowest regions of hell.

For the everlasting sake of our Country's Future and Freedom from socialist-marxist-American-haters, in the likes of New York's fraudulent Senator "Clintoon", we as a Nation must join in prayer...and pray her "dying" wish does not come to fruition.
Please let her go away and reek no more harm.

Yeah, Hillary. What a great place it would be if everyone was like me and not thee!
Old Travis McGee's friend, the economist labelled them the "If Only" crowd. If only this or if only that then we'd all be happy.
I kinda like old Dandy Don of the Dallas Cowboys who punctuated his football commenatary with that Texas homily, "If, Ifs and Buts were candy and nuts then we all would have a Merry Christmas"
Hillary has embraced Mrs Arafat and the Puerto Rican Terrorists. Let's see how far that gets her. She's even stealing thunder from Laura Bush re the Afghan women's rights. Maybe Wubya needs to appoint her Ambassador to Afghanistan. Nothing would do more for The US then for her to be 12 times zones away.

don't hold back, Pete!!!

Doesn't hillary make you so proud to be a Democrat? Please have her on the ticket in 2004. Please!

tired of Neo-Conservatives.I hear you.
Here in Pennsylvania we have Rick Santorum, who is about as conservative as you are going to get in the notheast, and he's not bad. But I agree, I want the trend to continue rightward, with solid conservatives all around.
By the way, I think you don't read carefully. I didn't say I wanted D'Amato. Just that he could probably run and beat that creep Mrs. Clinton right now. Of course, he can't do that because that NY Senate election isn't for another what? 4 years?
To: Pay now bill Clinton
Just wait and see! McCain will be THE candidate to help Hillary get to the WH. As for Bush, well, he is a zero year prez and alot can happen in three years. And Mr. Reagan? What was he?

New York voted for Hillary. And New York refused to give the death penalty to terroritsts who had killed many Americans. How ironic that the terrorists hit New York. The sad part is that so many innocent people, inclduing brave firemen and police officers, died. Isn't New York the one state that abstained in voting for the Declaration of Independence?

Ooops. Forgot to mention in my above 225 reply:
It'll be every clear thinking patriot's obligation, and duty, to piss on the "duo-Toon's" final dirt-nap resting place, once they shed their mortal coils.
Thank God, it will not be in Arlington. A WhiteWater mud flat will do.

Die for it Hillary! That is an original way to be elected President, although one Democrat successfully won a Senate seat that way-hellova price to pay though. It is certainly a change from your Lord and Master, William Jefferson Whatshisname's two elections, where he lived to be President while d*mn near everybody who had ever been within in a country mile of him, either died or wound up in prison.
America has had Presidents die in office, but never yet one who died to get there. Leave it to the smartest woman who ever lived to figure a way to get elected by avoiding the debates that would convince even Bill, Chelsey, Buddy and socks to vote for the opponent. Dead is a perfect excuse Hillary, you rascal you.
To: river rat
Hillary is exceedingly evil. Hillary is the living dead.
To: Lancey Howard
you are correct. I did misunderstand Re: D'amato

I think Reagan was blessed with extraordinary luck. I don't think that Bush has the same.
