Great post. We are the United States of America. We are the good guys. Four thousand of us were killed on our own soil. It can happen here. That is why there should not be any place in the world were our military cannot kick butt and take names.

The military has been suffering from shortages and a high tempo. We are astonishing despite the damage done during the Clinton years. We have the right leadership now, but the military has not been made right yet. It should take years to fix the mess and make it right again.

Presidents Reagan and Bush I had to re-build the United Sates military after Jimmy Carter.

Bush II has to go through the same process. When are the Libs going to understand that the United States of America must remain strong.

For twenty-three years, I've been telling my children that the primary purpose of the Federal government is the United States military, CIA, FBI, NSA, etc. Not Social Security, Food Stamps, Health & Human Services, Dept. of Education... and all of the rest of the socialistic pork barrel depts.

We didn't have all this flab in the gov't 200 years ago, and America was stronger for it. Americans had the guts to be responsible and accountable for their own actions. Today, too many want the government to act as a sugar-daddy. Clinton's mantra, "I feel your pain" is a bunch of crap.

If you want to "feel my pain," shut down agencies who get in the way of freedom in allowing individuals and businesses move along in a entreprenuerial, free market, market-driven, capitalistic society.
