We choose this time, because it is a time, of all others, when Want is keenly felt, and Abundance rejoices. What shall I put you down for?"

"Nothing!" Scrooge replied.

"You wish to be anonymous?"

"I wish to be left alone," said Scrooge. "Since you ask me what I wish, gentlemen, that is my answer. I don't make merry myself at Christmas and I can't afford to make idle people merry. I help to support the establishments I have mentioned -- they cost enough; and those who are badly off must go there."

Yeah, CJ, I'm sure that you can find somewhere to dump such "vagrants" as veterans. I mean, after all, they're not needed any more, are they?

Yes, I was hearing Rush talk about the homeless in the background as I was dialing the phone # for Mayor Campbell of Solana Beach, CA...didn't actually hear what he had to say as the receptionist, Jennifer, answered the phone. I told her I was calling from Florida about Mr. N. and TJ and asked who I should speak to. She tried to put me through to "Lucy" who she identified as the correct person to address this. Lucy didn't answer her phone so, rather than leave a short voice mail message, I "unloaded" on Jennifer. Short version: I told her of our concerns, told her people across the country are now following this story and "hoping" (expecting!) a positive outcome. I specifically told her that I had contacted Fox News and asked them to look into it. I was polite and she was pleasant--no problems to report. Unfortunately, when I askd if she had heard from others, she said I was only the 2nd caller...This was at 2:45 EST

Whereas Dick Murphy is a standup kind of Mayor for the City of San Diego, it's not happening on his watch. You will have to call the City Manager of Solana Beach
