This has to be the sickest post I've ever read in the four years I've been addicted to Free Republic. The lingering question I have is WHY? The implication here is that most, if not all of these perpetrators were HIV positive. Thus, if any of these poor children survive, they may end up with AIDs. Is there any punishment that is not warranted?

I talked at length with a man from South Africa who was working in the US, hoping to bring his family and girlfriend here, but his visa was not extended. He told me that we cannot imagine what the women go through in his country, the daily fear of rape and murder. He said there is nowhere they are safe.

He told me about his farming parents and how they feared for their lives on a daily basis -- the farm, by its nature, can't have neighbors close at hand, and they are easy targets for robbers and thieves. Hard to sleep at night, difficult to work during the day. He said all of these problems are exacerbated by the family being not white.

The country needs MUCH prayer and a nation of changed hearts.

Well, we helped throw the previous government out and institute the present one - all in deference to our Liberal Shibboleths. So, in some sense we bear partial responsibility for the awful result. What we can do about it now is another matter. The county is well on it's way to being an unliveable horror.
