The hate-American crowd are scheduled to hold a rally in front of the Washington Post building...They'll be welcome, I'm sure. Thanks for the heads up. Way to keep the rallies classy. DC Freepers are the best. (^:

It's been a tough two weeks at school and outside school. I'll be at soccer so I can't come, but I earned the rank of Eagle Scout this week and one week I hope to be out there in my uniform with you guys.
To: Jeff Gordon Fan
Wow! An Eagle Scout. Congratulations!
I wonder how many FReepers are also Eagle Scouts? Someone should start a thread.
I got all the way to 1st Class. (Barely)

Roger on the change of location Bump!
To: leadpenny
Yea - but you were a first class combat pilot in Vietnam - that is what it is all about. BUMP this thread for a great turnout on Saturday - we have a distinct chance of outnumbering the opposition on this one - let's do it.

Hi, I'm newly registered. I was wondering whether there is coordination with any other groups to engage in this counter-demonstration? We need to outnumber those idiots. I went downtown on Sept 29, our 70-100 vs their few thousand. Also, I have read the "rules of engagement".... would a sign based on the anti-USA group's acronym be appropriate, I'm thinking ANSWER= Anti-US Numbskulls Spewing Wholly Erroneous Rubbish, cute huh?

"I'll be at soccer so I can't come,"......well, at this late date in the season that means that you are in some kind of playoff or in a league, whatever, best of luck."
but I earned the rank of Eagle Scout this week and one week I hope to be out there in my uniform with you guys"
And, Jeff Gordon Fan, you know we are proud of you. And, we are proud of your father for taking you to the Freeper meets.
To: Dave Dilegge
Bumpin' it back to you, Dave.
To: Jeff Gordon Fan
Congratulations and good for you. We'll miss you on Saturday. Good luck at the game.

Feel free to invite other groups with which you may have contacts. As long as people want to join us following the DC Chapter rules for protesting and bring flags or red, white and blue apparel, they are welcome. Looks like we already have about 50 people responding on these threads -- the more the merrier. See you Saturday.
To: Jeff Gordon Fan
Outstanding at sports, Eagle Scout, intelligent and a patriot - you have what it takes to be a Marine (don't listen to that Army dog leadpenny;-). Seriously - kudos on a job well done! And a BUMP for Sat.

Angelwood, My family had a great time joining you in the last Freep by the Whitehouse, we wish we could join you again. Alas, we are now back in our home in the desert, so we can only wish you, and the DC Freepers a great Freep, and a good time from Arizona. Looking forward to your picture posts as always.

Oh, well. There's prom in the spring...something to look forward to (if yer a Junior or Senior, which I'm bettin you are).
Remember, young one, regurgitate what your teachers teach you so you can pass your tests, but don't turn away from the truth...

(don't listen to that Army dog leadpenny;-). You Jarheads are shameless when it comes to trying to steal the good ones for the Corps. I was having a brewski a couple of days ago at Friday's (Potomac Mills) where my youngest is a bartender. Had a wonderful conversation with the CO of the OCS at Quantico. Link . You may know him. My middle son just left the Army for a couple of years for ROTC, and when the Colonel heard that, he was trying to recruit him through me. Can't even have a beer in peace. ;o)
Don't listen to 'em, JGF.
