Thanks for reposting this. Of course, people here don't want to hear that this is an inside job.

There was this here guy, bbottoms, that kinda acted like some of our current "diverters" on FR, see, and he put out stuff like this ---
Bear Bottoms writes----
Welch himself has stated that he believes he was "anthraxed." I questioned him closely about this and I do not think he was actually a victim of employment of anthrax. By his admission, there was no definitive diagnosis of anthrax poisoning. He said the doctor said that it "could be" and the symptoms are somewhat "indicative of" but there was no conclusion. Anthrax (especially military grade) inhalation is almost always deadly and at the least extremely debilitating. I'm not even going to go where this is taking me, but I have always had a nagging in the back of my mind about Welch supporting this possibility. Seal was long gone by this time, and he was certainly not a danger to anyone during the time he was supposedly anthraxed.

Wasn't Asa Hutchinson (current head of DEA) a DA in Arkansas during this this time ?
To: rdavis84
If this report is true, then there should be some postal workers who died around this same time, as well as some state employees. The tainted mailers would not just have infected Welsh.

There has NEVER been a satisfactory answer to the mysteries at Mena. Why has the press totally ignored this huge story? Even the conservatives have let this go uninvestigated.

Asa Hutchinson (House Manager, Now DEA Head) was the U.S. Attorney for Western Arkansas during this time.

"Of course, people here don't want to hear that this is an inside job" Are you forgetting that this article relates to an occurance under the Clinton Administration? And are you implying that the current anthrax scare is an inside job by the Bush Administration?

Because Barry Seal was another one of those danged "Stings Gone Wrong"???
Plus, Richard Ben-Venista "handed off" Seal to GHWBush.

Looks like bbottoms is no longer a FReeper. Neither is NDCORUP (RIP).

"Are you forgetting that this article relates to an occurance under the Clinton Administration?"
There's two ways of looking at this; One is that Slick was in charge because it was 'his' State. (But Asa Hutchinson Wasn't his :-)
Then there's the larger concept; That's the involvement of the CIA.
And now, the CIA still seems to be the Root Problem. BTW, why doesn't jr. just have Leach release his report on Mena? Huh?

I read Asa was the US Attorney for the area during this. He had control over the Seals investigation. I'm not sure if it's true. It looks like Seals was set up for a hit to make sure that went no where.

Seems like this same account is in Terry Reed's "Compromised: Clinton, Bush and the CIA."
To: rdavis84
I don't think it's either Klintoon or Asa, both are needed. If it involves both parties that helps assure the investigation goes no where. Now if you can just control who the Federal Judge is on the case you have a fail proof operation.

The tainted mailers would not just have infected Welsh.Unless the person doing the tainting was one step away from Welsh....someone very close.

Indeed, the same Asa Hutchinson who now heads the DEA. For an excellent story on him during this period, check out Mara Leveritt's at: http://arktimes.com/010525coverstoryb.html THIMMESCH
