I don't appreciate you guys talking to each other and saying I am joeyo or some other idiot.

And I'm sure Joey00 [wink, wink] doesn't appreciate being called an idiot. Such are the crosses we bear.

Hey, thanks for singling me out!

This endorsement comes as no surprise, but it's like Wilder endorsing Warner; NOT getting it would be bigger news.

My question: is Earley saying that he'll support the full phase-out of the car-tax next year with the knowledge that the revenue shortfalls are likely to be so large that there's no chance it can be done? That would be a win-win strategy in my book. Earley can't be unconscious of the fact that even the Gilmore supporters in the Virginia House who helped sustain the budget impasse say it's impossible to finish the car-tax repeal next year.

Sustain the budget impasse? Are you as well blaming Gilmore for keeping his word? Come on!

But you've said little to prove it.
I am not the one to brag about this kind of stuff, but I have donated lots of $$ to Earley and Schundler .
Giving to a campagin is more important than saying something here to prove to you who I support.

Only RINOs win state wide races in NJ.

That's been the case, unfortunately. However, if Schundler could lose by no more than 6% or so, that would suggest a real possibility that he could win in some future race.

The situation doesn't favor Schundler structurally. The GOP has been in control for 8 years and hasn't solved the auto insurance problem, so that gives McGreevey a built in advantage. It doesn't matter if Schundler's not Whitman, dissatisfaction benefits the out of power party candidate. I don't know who's had more money to spend, but I'm guessing it's McGreevey. Finally, Schundler's a relative unknown compared to McGreevey. In a future run for Governor Schundler could buck history and win as a conservative.

No, it has nothing to do with Gilmore after he proposed the budget. The Senate tried to come up with a plan that would have over-ridden Gilmore's veto, and the Gilmore supporters in the House did not acquiesce to the Senate plan. (Though I remember one legislator from Hampton Roads made a few attempts at a compromise plan that the Senate rejected.) So Gilmore had to have the House support to sustain the repeal to 70%; if the House had given in to the Senate, the repeal would have been less than the 70% level.

"Groannnnn.....I knew somebody would go there!"

I've been there several times on similar posts alredy. Sure its corny, but I thought it was still better than a plain old bump; therefore I will do the same in the future. Just think, once Earley is elected, we will be able to spend 4 years coming with plays on his name! Woo Hoo

The irony is Schundler would win Virginia easily

Not with this crowd around here. All we'd hear is why he couldn't win. Concerning your prediction, if you don't want it to come true, you've still got twelve days to help Earley win.
