We want Ted Maher back, Monaco, y'hear?
-BTTT-
Is a lousy testament to our priorities in this nation, these days; while then again?
What else could one possibly expect from America's, "Priority-Setters"?
...the traitorous, insideously sycophant, quisling Liberal media strangling the nation's hearts & minds?
-BTTT-
Wherein, Americans suffer at the hands of lawless foreign profiteers.
Much as in the jewelled sewage pit of the Cote d'Azur.
Monaco = Mogadishu
That's as interesting to hear coming from you as it is surprising, Phil.
I mean; I'd have bet you'd have assumed it wouldn't be much more than the usual distorted, Hollweird propaganda of the worst kind.
Sure have on my side; & really, as in shape as I like to think I am?
I'm still reluctant to risk a big spike in the ol' bloodpressure getting torqued outa shape by something like that. {g}
In any event; It'll be facinating to hear just what you have to say about it.
Frankly, you're the only opin I'd give any serious consideration to entertaining 'round these parts.
Enjoy your time out & drive safe.
A before-sign-off bump for the illegally held & framed on trumped-up charges United States citizen and veteran, Ted Maher.
Monaco?
We want that man back, y'hear?

Monaco?
We want this neighbor of our's back, y'hear?

BUMP FOR TED!
-BTTT-
I must say at the outset that such bravery by our Rangers fills me anew with respect for our veterans such as Ted the Green Beret and his brother Mike the MP (and Brian 68-69TonkinGulfYatchClub and on and on).
George H.W. Bush sent the Marines to keep Aidid from confiscating humanitarian food supplies. Our Ambassador Oakley and our Marines were doing the job. Enter Clinton to remove them in March, 1993, and subjugate our 10th Mountain Rangers to the limp-wristed "command" and suicidal Rules of Engagement of the U.N.
The movie is an immersion into the fog of war, the danger and blood, and the tremendous bravery under fire of our Rangers.
I recommend it without reservation.
As will be recalled from some months ago in a series of essays by a special forces veteran who is familiar with Ted's case and predicament, he's responding with deep strength to intentional techniques of interrogation.
His endurance is a testament to his personal strength of character, his deep love of family, and his resonance of his Army special forces training.
It is clear that his strength indicates integrity and inspires redoubled efforts on his behalf.
As stated by the commander and men of the 10th Mountain Rangers:
If Hollywierd even IMPLIED the fact(s) as you've so-stated above?
Never mind characterizing the truth verbatim in their story.
Than I'd feel as-if someone belted me in the breadbasket; & the wind knocked clean outa me.
A stunning turn-about in the omnipresent Hollyweird Leftist, Anti-American Military-Hating mindset leaves me with nothing but, questions, Phil.
In any event; thanks x1000 for your review.
I'll add this one to my very, Short-List" of motion pictures I'd like to see.
Hey Hollwierd?
As long as you're in an *apparent* patriotic mood?
How about this:
It'd be right-up-your ally!!
AND Hollywierd would be 101% JUSTIFIED EXCORIATING the American politicians, Left AND Right, who COULD have intervened on behalf of Ted Maher; but didn't!!!!
Yup; Scorcese, Oliver!!
Think 'bout that!
This one's a hangin' FAST BALL, fellas.
Would be like shootin' fish in a barrel!
Plus; EITHER of you two could very well FORCE Monaco into releaing this man, unconditionally.
Which would have the added benefits for your PR, career?
Heros to those of us who view y'all as something a *tad* less than, kind?
C'mon you geniuses of illusion; won't have to make-up a thing, either...the horror of Ted Maher's story is very real, indeed; and, it's going on right now, today.
>A morning bump for Ted & continuing prayer request from maestro is in order.
...we got us a sea to part here; & need all the help we can get.
-BTTT-
Now keep a stiff upper lip & your faith.
'Cuz that's the stuff we're gonna use as our gunpowder to blow this atrocity to Kingdom Come, Mike.
-BTTT-
Monaco?
It ain't gonna get any easier for y'all.
We want Ted back.
We want him back, now.

MONACO: FREE AMERICAN TED MAHER NOW!
To: Sue W. Kelly
Subject: FREE TED MAHER--GREEN BERET VETERAN WRONGLY IMPRISONED BY MONACO 779 DAYS WITHOUT TRIAL ON EXTORTED FALSE CONFESSION
Dear Congresswoman Kelly:
Thank you for writing Secretary of State Colin Powell on behalf of TED MAHER your constituent and Green Beret veteran wrongly imprisoned by Monaco 779 days without trial on an extorted false confession.
As your letter of November 13, 2001 has gone unanswered for SEVEN WEEKS, perhaps you will follow it up with a phone call--perhaps it was lost in the mail?
While Ramsey Clark whines for conjugal visits for Al Qaeda terrorists in Guantanamo, and the city of New York squabbles over the races of the faces of a statue, your innocent constituent, an honorable Green Beret veteran, loyal husband, loving father, caring and accomplished neonatal nurse TED MAHER is well into his THIRD YEAR WRONGLY IMPRISONED BY A FOREIGN AUTHORITARIAN REGIME.
Please act firmly and without delay to enlist the necessary and proper officials in the right cause of freeing our wrongly imprisoned fellow American.
Ed Pope was freed from bogus FSB charges and Moscow's Leforto Prison by the House Concurrent Resolution 444 of his representative John Peterson, and the explicit mention to Vladimir Putin by the then-president.
Every effort is justified in pursuing such vigorous efforts now on behalf of TED MAHER.
The letter you wrote with Ben Gilman to Prince Rainier, after many long months, elicited only a six-page lie from Monaco's Patrice Davost. Now, seven weeks into a letter to former chairman of the joint chiefs Powell, the plight of a Green Beret veteran has elicited precisely nothing.
State dinners and press conferences are all very well, but there is nothing more concrete than a concrete cell.
Can the U.S. Treasury afford one more first-class stamp? When the 10th Mountain Rangers declare "Leave No Man Behind", is this some arcane and ancient loyalty unknown inside the Beltway?
Thank you for acting now to FREE TED MAHER.
