Dear Secretary Powell:

As TED MAHER's congresswoman SUE KELLY wrote you on November 13, Ted has been wrongly imprisoned by Monaco two years without trial.

A substantial number of persons having knowledge of TED MAHER, his character, the particulars of the current onerous scapegoating, and Monaco's arrogant abuse of this honorable individual urge you to intercede on his behalf.

Please contact SUE KELLY and HEIDI MAHER, wife of TED MAHER, to learn the truth of the injustice done to this innocent American and honorable veteran.

Please intercede on his behalf against a foreign power in violation of the U.N. Charter on Human Rights, as well as the spirit of justice this country has fought for for its two hundred twenty-five years of existence.

As a general of the Army, it would be an act of loyalty to a veteran of your service to take up his cause when a totalitarian principality has robbed his wife and children of their husband and father FOR THE THIRD STRAIGHT CHRISTMAS.

The man is innocent; the two years of imprisonment is an outrage; the principality is arrogant and abusive.

Only your intercession can right the balance of justice.

And the "big media" coverage? Nonexistent! Even Rupert isn't gonna touch this one with a ten foot pole.
One show's coverage of this would solve it but, IMO, the facts would get out and then someone else would have to be looked at, which is exactly what isn't wanted.

Israeli journalist Boaz Bismuth revealed to Sara James that one of the security team told him it was "the lady" who did not want them at the penthouse.

The coverage was so sympathetic to Ted and incriminating to Lily that Dateline removed the transcript from its website.

So someone did do a show. Sorry, I missed it. I don't watch too much TV.
I do recall seeing it mentioned. Just kick me every now and then to get my brain started. I usually skip over the preliminaries in the threads and get right to the posts for the updates from you and the family.
So still, despite the coverage, nothing was done. How sad. What a terrible anniversary Nov. 21 must have been for the family. And the slumberers slumber on.
