If you're able, one thought is to have half-page fliers with some simple info and www.tedmaher.com, and, www.freerepublic.com (Search - Ted Maher), so people can connect to the sites later.
Ooh, since this an awards announcement event for sports people, maybe you can think of a sign saying something about crowning Monaco champ for holding an American Green Beret veteran, husband, father of 3 small children, son and brother hostage for over 800 days! /sarcasm. Hall of Shame, Monaco! Free American Ted Maher now!
