This song was written by an American servicemen shortly after the attack
and is floating around military circles right now. I think we need more like this
to bolster public morale and support for our efforts. Hopefully this
song will also do something to bolster the warrior spirit of those who'll
be put to the test.

Excellent. The only verse I'd change is this:
The brave Australians quickly swore they'd join us in the ranks; Yes Canada and Britain said "We'll both stand by the Yanks!"; And the free men of the future shall forever owe them thanks, Let's all go marching on!
Substitute Japan for Canada as their support was quicker and more unconditional.

Pass it on and keep it rolling. Let's Roll.

"Canada" fits better metrically, however.
I like the song.

Isn't it just so lovely that our forefathers left us the verses and the battle hymns that would move us, this many years, and this many cultures later. These hymns stir us from our very souls, inexplainably.
"The commitment of our fathers is the calling of our time."
President George W. Bush, National Cathedral, September 14, 2001.

Every generation of Americans has, at some point, been called upon to stand in the gap. Our hour has come. May all of us draw upon the resolve and strength shown by those passengers of that flight over Pennsylvania, who, even as they faced certain death, took that stand for freedom and liberty and sacrificed their own lives so that others might live. To do less would soil their sacrifice.
Let us not forget; we are not at war with Islam. We are at war with barbarians who pervert the sacred teachings of that great religion for their own putrid goals. Their only resemblance to civilized humanity is the fact that they walk upright.
Let us be firm in our resolve to do what must be done. No trials, no courts, no Miranda readings. No, they must be hunted down and disposed of like the rabid vermin they are.
To do less would be to stand aside and let barbarism triumph over freedom. To those to harbor and welcome this tyranny, I say to you; OVER MY DEAD BODY.
To those who, even now, are moving to stand in the gap; welcome aboard...let's send 'em to hell!

Noble Eagle is probably the prep stage operation. We should name the offensive operation against one of the tough guys who brought down the plane in PA.

BTW does anybody know that website you can use to mass mail to newspapers? I think this song should reach the offline community as well.

I'm sure we can expect to see various things taken in and out. I expect we might see some very "colorful" versions too, if I don't underestimate the creativity of our junior personnel. hohoho.

This is really quite good!
I'm so pleased to see the resurgence of the Battle Hymn of the Republic. It stirs me and inspires me every time I hear it.

The commitment of our fathers is the calling of our time
We vow our fallen heroes shall be never left behind
With the thundering of our march and the pounding of our song.... we go marching on!
