Thursday September 13
WASHINGTON (AP) - President Bush (news - web sites)'s nominee to be U.S. ambassador to the United Nations (news - web sites) won approval Thursday from the Senate Foreign Relations Committee despite concerns about his prior service as American envoy to Honduras.
The committee voted 14-3 to send the nomination of John Negroponte to the full Senate
Voting against the nomination were Democrats Paul Wellstone of Minnesota, Russ Feingold of Wisconsin and Barbara Boxer of California.
They did not question Negroponte's qualifications and said they would not try to block the nomination, particularly with the pressing need for the post to be filled after Tuesday's attacks against the United States.
The previous U.S. ambassador, Richard Holbrooke, stepped down in January.

OMG...HOW did this commie dumb*** (who is my senator - ack) get to chair a committee?? We are in real trouble.
To: SFmom
Aside from being dumb as a rock, this bimbo has no respect for the Constitution and absolutely hates the Bill of Rights. She will do all she can to gut the Bill of Rights.

Boxer....
" It is time for a formal apology to the misunderstood terrorists and there poorly represented leader Bin Laden, my fellow Americans, if these young men did not have such a bad childhood, they would not have committed these crimes"... I am going to recommend a suspended sentence and counseling for these poor young men..."

I'm not worried. Sounds like a grand title for an administative/secretary function for organization/coordination of data to me. I imagine there's lots of folks we don't like or agree with that will rally to or be appointed to these times.

We are resolved to make our nation safer, as safe as it can be from these acts. We are resolved to hold those who plan these attacks, who harbor these people absolutely a hundred percent accountable. We will hold them accountable. They must pay because this is the test of a civilized nation. And we lead the civilized nations of the world, and we will not back down. The only way to make the US and the world safe from terrorist is to find these terrorist and kill them and their families in the dead of night. To do so with out pity or remorse. To do so in the most horribly brutal fashion as to strike unreasoning fear in to the hearts of those who would follow their example.
This is the language that these people understand. This is the currency of these peoples minds. These are the methods which will restore our countrys and the worlds safety. Lesser methods such as banning email encryption an phone tapping are temporary stopgap measures which last only as long as it takes the terrorist to find a way around the measure (which is not long).
Only the fear of a strong and ruthless retaliation will stop these people.

Say this isn't so. Deja vu, she was the first one I thought of on a yesterday thread, I can see her receiving top secret information, going home and blabbing it to all her friends on the phone. How can they put someone so clueless in this position???? She wouldn't know the meaning of national security if it hit her upside the head....a perfect appointment for getting good soldiers killed.

Well, with Boxer heading the terrorism subcommittee and Gary Condit still on duty over at Intelligence, I think we can all rest easy, what?

So Bill Clinton fires every U.S. Attorney. Then, Webster Hubbell and Sheila Anthony(Vince Foster's sister) hire some corrupted new ones. Barbara Boxer, whose daughter married Hillary Rodham Clinton's younger brother at the White House in 1994 says, yeah, Robert Mueller should get the FBI job. Hahahahahahahaha. Traitor Barbara Boxer will now chair the Subcommittee on Terrorism. When does Janet Reno and Tenet get together for lunch and discuss CIA maps for bombing targets? Does Webb Hubbell and John Huang hold hands with Hillary to channel with Eleanor Roosevelt to form a committee with Mochtar Riady and Jackson Stephens for tactical expertise? Might need their help. Have you looked at a map of Afghanistan? Look at the countries that surround the terrorist scum. Maybe China will allow us to land our aircraft at their military facilities. We might need Kissinger and Haig for that approval. Is Mary Jo White in charge of the
save the children campaign. Maybe Jesse Jackson can blackmail Osama bin Laden. What are Laden's hiring practices and does he manufacture Toyotas. Powell can be in charge of the Afghanistan
highway of death. Cheney can call Brown and Root for cleanup. George can direct us towards the
thousands points of light in the bombing campaign when we pulverize the terrorist scum to dust. Buy a laser pointer for Lawrence Eagleburger. He can talk about
collateral damage. He's got some
collateral now.

No doubt, Barbarian Boxer is one of the most dangerous terrorists around.
Luke 22:36 (KJV) --Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
Got sword? (M1 Garand)
No mercy, no quarter!
May the jihadists burn in hell for eternity!
Help speed them on their way!
Molon Labe!
