Landed like the space shuttle always does, too fast, too nose high, and takes too long to slow down.
Usually ended up bouncing the rear tire off the ground.
Did meet a girl that way once, though.
I finally came to rest a few feet from her.
I looked up from my painful repose, faec up, and said "Hi."
Then went back to see just how many more layers of skin I could lose..

By golly, Sam you're right. I thought the play was so obscure I hadn't thought to Google it.

It appears to be more popular than you thought. Even found the site where you can by the rights to put it on. I'll pass it on to my wife, she's always looking for a play for her 4th grade class and she keeps giving me "the Look" when I suggest "West Side Story"

"Well the whole bloody place (America) is the most unspeakable matriarchy in the whole history of civilization! Look at yourself! (to Milton Berle as J. Russell Finch) The way your wife & her strumpet of a mother push you through the hoop! As far as I can see, American men have been totally emasculated- they're like slaves! They die like flies from coronary thrombosis while their women sit under hairdryers eating chocolates & arranging for every 2nd Tuesday to be some sort of Mother's Day!!!"

"Tyler Fitzgerald: You know what I need? I need a drink. There's some ice and stuff back there. Why don't you make us all some old fashioneds?
Ding Bell: Old fashioneds, do you think you oughta drink while your flying?
Tyler Fitzgerald: Well stop kidding will ya and make us some drinks! You just press the button back there marked "booze". It's the only way to fly!"

Thanks SAM. Nice picture of W strutting his stuff! LOL.
Now if he would PLEASE get on the domestic agenda (economy/borders) with as much fervor as he attacks the war on terror we could keep him as our President. That would be wonderful.

I want to know who the "soldier" in the bottom right corner is that isn't saluting.

SAM's tagline was my contribution of haiku for the Foxhole, of course posted on bentfeathers poetry thread.
I'm glad SAM liked it enough to swipe it. Watch him get mentioned again in Taglinius' thread for a good tagline. Hmmm.

Where were we when that woman asked "How do you spell Neener, as in when you say neener, neener..."?
That was funny, and of course we knew how to spell it!
