Thanks Johnny.
These improvements will give the Harrier a day and night attack capability, and will extend the service life into the next century as well as greatly improving warfighting capability and logistics support ability.
I presume some have this now as I know that the Tarawa launched them 24/7 during the height of OIF.
To: snippy_about_it
I guessing you're correct.
There was quite a bit more information on the AV-8 that I didn't post because I try to keep them "moderately readable"
Nice pictures love all those planes!

There was an ugly, violent storm passed through my town. Hard fast winds, blew branches down onto my porch, in the streets. Water running down street gutters like rivers, black as night, this was at 5:45pm. There was strong fierce lightning and thunder. I have a good power surger but shut everything down just to be safe.
Sky has cleared now and the temp has dropped a lot and it was not very high to begin with. In NYC the temp is 77F. This storm came down from Canada. A real humdinger.

Man, I don't know SAM!!! A real rip snorter!!! It has cooled down and it was not hot to begin with, The news said this storm came down from Canada. It was kinda of sacry and exciting at the same time. :-( The wind blew the rain up under and into the porch. The rain nevers gets in there. There are broken twigs and tree limbs all over my yard. I'm safe however, and did not lose power at anytime.
To: bentfeather
Good to hear you made it through the storm, we used to get some nasty ones in Illinois in the summer.
