The first thing to keep in mind is that Kennedy would not have ordered this investigation if he felt he were truly responsible. Nonsense. Investigations are routinely called for to cover up the truth and blame someone else for the failure. Truth of the matter is that Kennedy did not keep his promise to the Cubans. Truth of the matter is that he was unwilling to carry out the mission to a successful conclusion. He had three choices: to support the mission to make sure it succeeded, to abort it and try to make it more viable, or to betray it. He chose betrayal.

If you think something I said would indicate that I supported the way Kennedy handled the Bay of Pigs you would be wrong or have mis-interpreted my comments. OR.. I wasn't clear in stating them.
I have posted many a comment about his "lack" of leadership now that we are studying him historically. I've spoken out about a lot of things for that matter. So if you missed my posts.. you might have also missed out on those where I mention his drug habits.
