This was after a 1/2 hour on the playground after church. We convinced her it was lunch time.
Oh happy day, she is starting to respond to reason. Only another 3 decades to comprehension.
Oh dear, well she will come around. She understands food.
Sunday Afternoon Bump for the Freeper Foxhole.
I am hoping to hear from snippy and SAM this evening
Will post any news that I hear when I hear it.

Strength & Support
Read:
|
The local newspaper reported that a mother is devastated because her 21-year-old son, who had always seemed like an upright young man, had been arrested for dealing drugs.
Also in our community, the parents and siblings of a 15-year-old are grieving because he was killed in a gun accident.
An aged friend is heartbroken because her only daughter, the person she depended on more than all others, died from cancer.
People who are hurting have a common need: the comfort that comes from trusting God. They need to be assured that tragedy and grief are not a mark of God's disfavor but that He weeps with them, He loves them, and He will never leave those who are His.
Eliphaz said to Job: "Your words have upheld him who was stumbling, and you have strengthened feeble knees" (Job 4:4). Job earned this tribute despite his own deep suffering. And when we offer comfort to sorrowing and suffering people, we not only emulate Jobwe emulate Jesus.
In the midst of a host of hurting people, each one of us can reach out to become a comforter like Job. Let's ask God to make our hearts tender enough to support and strengthen those who are hurting. Herb Vander Lugt
God doesn't comfort us to make us comfortable, but to make us comforters.
Guess who's sleeping.
Surely not KarateBoy!
No word from our wandering friends, here is hoping that everything is going well for them on thier trip.

Hope everybody has a great day

Keep Going For God!

A familiar saying goes something like this: "Old age is a matter of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter!"
That must have been John Kelley's attitude. Kelley, who died in 2004 at the age of 96, ran in 58 Boston Marathons (that's 26.2 miles each time)including his last one in 1992 when he was 84 years old.
Kelley's remarkable feat is a reminder to each of us that we must stay active as long as we can. Far too many folks hit middle age and put the body in neutral. And Christians too often put their service for Jesus Christ in the same inactive mode.
Each of us has a responsibility to God, as long as He gives us physical and mental strength, to work heartily "as to the Lord" (Colossians 3:23). We are never called to retire from life and coast home to heaven.
The psalmist said that the righteous "shall still bear fruit in old age" (Psalm 92:14). For those who are physically able, that means continuing in active service. For those who can no longer move about, that means being active in prayer and in quiet service.
Let's make sure old age doesn't stop us from bearing fruit. We need to keep going for God. Dave Branon
To stay youthful, stay useful.
Hi miss Feather
Bittygirl discovered cuddling up next to a sleeping dad last night.
Aww! Speaking of bittygirl, at lunch she fell asleep in her highchair with her plate still full of ravioli with tomatoes and mushrooms. I guess we wore her out today.
And I bet you did not have the camera handy did you?? What did you do today that wore her out?? ;)
We have been playing with playdough, taking a much needed bath after playing with markers and pens, playing outside (it's gorgeous out there, BTW), and more playdough, eating cookies and drinking coco-bai ( = Coke-bottle. Literally: Sprite in her sippy cup).
Maybe we should make a Bittygirl lexicon?
Oh my what a busy day for a Bittygirl.
So great for kids to be out of doors. They love it and it usually sends them to dreamland. Per Bittygirl. ;)
I have heard from our Road Warriors and all is mostly well. SAM and snippy are somewhere in Kansas, and they must be in North Carolina by Thursday night.
The movers held them up and so they did not get to leave till Sunday morning. Grumble Grumble Fortunately the delay caused them to miss the big snow storm on I-80. YEA
Unfortunately they were not able to stop by the Continous Weekend Home Improvement Project due to the late start and a bit of miscommunication. dang nabit
snippy reports that Sarge is travelling in the car well but he does not like the motel rooms and it takes him a while to get calmed down. SAM picked up a warning ticket in Wyoming for going "3" miles over the speed limit. They were going downhill and the HP was on them in a heartbeat. The movers will not get to North Carolina till Monday April 3rd. Wanna Bet?
They thank everybody for the travell prayers and will probably be back on FR next week. Hopefully Tuesday or Wednesday.
Okay that is all I got for now, off to work I must go dang bills!!!
