Thanks Ciexyz. We know we're a graphic heavy thread and we appreciate those who took the time and effort to check out the Foxhole even though it caused them problems.
LOL. You're right. In summer the birds have their "natural" foods available so they visit the backyard feeder less often but still rely on it for at least 30% of their diet. They are also less active in high heat. Your wife is smart to feed all year long. During the fall is when birds scout out where they will be eating during winter.
Come on bad weather!!! :-)
Thank you Barry. We'll be around now and then. :-)
Give me land lots of land......
Awwww. Thank you for getting through. My weekend threads usually had less graphics. :-)
Thanks for all your hard work over the years.
My Daddy, who's passed on, always remembered December 7th. I used to call him on the phone and ask him, Do you know what day this is? And he'd reminisce about where he was when he first heard that Pearl Harbor got bombed. "We knew we were goin' to war."
I'm FReepin' on my Blackberry. What a country!

Same here, but if you ever find a bomb, bring it over in the light so I can see it and I will check it out for you.

Very emotional thread. I remember the beginning, and will absolutley remember the end.
I remember before you moved snippy I used to get the weather forecast from you. What you had was coming our way. I remember watching you guys build your store. I think I even gave you some advice.
I'm gonna miss this place, I sent my son's here for research and Sam helped my oldest with a Vietnam paper which he did great on. A little different perspective than the teacher had expected..
I have my Tread head T shirt. Thank you for your dedication, all your hardwork and research. I know a daily thread is tough to keep going while life goes on. Heck, I have been running a campaign and irritating politicans for almost a year, my time has been spent elsewhere but I still posted coffee. It's my internet ministry.
Love you two! Take care and God Bless!

On Purpose

When a cowboy applied for an insurance policy, the agent asked, "Have you ever had any accidents?" After a moment's reflection, the applicant responded, "Nope, but a bronc did kick in two of my ribs last summer, and a couple of years ago a rattlesnake bit me on the ankle."
"Wouldn't you call those accidents?" replied the puzzled agent. "Naw," the cowboy said, "they did it on purpose!"
That story reminds me of the biblical truth that there are no accidents in the lives of God's children. In today's Scripture, we read how Joseph interpreted a difficult experience that had seemed like a great calamity. He had been thrown into a pit and then sold as a slave. This was a great test of his faith, and from the human standpoint it appeared to be a tragic case of injustice, not a providential means of blessing. But Joseph later learned that "God meant it for good" (Genesis 50:20).
Are you passing through the deep waters of trial and disappointment? Does everything seem to be going against you? These apparent misfortunes are not accidents. The Lord allows such things for a blessed purpose. So patiently trust Him. If you know the Lord, someday you will praise Him for it all! Richard De Haan
God transforms trials into triumphs.
