I was the senior officer on my compound and had the key to the back gate behind the BOQ that led to the village. I also was single, drawing hazardous duty pay, and combat pay. I enjoyed my tour.

Those Destroyers were of the Sumner class. Here is Collett at her prime

I spent some time on the John R. Pierce, DD753, and also a Sumner class.

If the North Koreans been more skillfull, there would have been hundreds of deaths and maybe a sinking. Either way, the Navy went in.

To all who see "729" (including me!!)

I had the Vroomspeed turned up way to high, so I washed the cache, set Vroomspeed to "original", reloaded, and there it was.
