Morning Sam.

Nope, not all loaded up. A girlfriend came over last night so we could have a last gal's night before I'm gone. heh, getting a slow start this morning. (the margaritas were real good :-)) I am to the point of waiting for that dry day to drive anyway I think.

Good morning Wneighbor, doesn't matter which thread, just as long as you're in a Foxhole. Good luck on your job hunt.

Morning Snippy - well, afternoon now.

Thanks for the wishes on the job hunt. Finding a job has never been hard for me but I sure would like to get one of those jobs at Redstone. :-)

While my dad was visiting last weekend, the subject of flags came up. I mentioned wanting to learn to use Msdrby's sewing machine to make a 15star/15stripe flag.

The conversation went on to the Confederate flags. I mentioned it would be neat to fly the Stars and Bars at home, just to see if anyone would notice. I got a blank stare from dad. He had no idea that the South had anything but the Battle Flag.

1961 1st black light is sold (groovy)

A black light is nothing more than a standard fluorescent light without the phosphor coating inside the tube. I saw a really cool demonstration of one of these several years ago.

To show the effect of their phosphor coating a manufacturer had created a sample lamp with half of the tube coated, and the other half clear. Put into a fixture, the lamp starts, and the coated end puts off "normal" light. The clear end glows purple, and causes neato, groovy effects.

Well - IF - you straightened him out on that correctly I will excuse your dad a bit. Just because he IS your dad. And because he likes bugs.
