Whoa Nellie that's a big flag-o-gram!
BTTT!!!!!!
I happen to have a complete collection of Glenn Miller's AAF Band. The records were made from master tapes while the band was on tour during the war. The records themselves were made in the 60's are are part of a 5-record set. I haven't listened to them in a while but have kept them preserved. I ought to takke them in someplace and have digital CD's made from them.
Nice collection to own. Not a bad idea to get them transferred to CD.
The only problem with transferring them to CD is that I have not been able to find anyplace local, and I just do not trust sending them via mail. These records are irreplaceable.
Hi Sam always a day late and dollar short. I was raised in Ft. Morgan and they still have a festival in the summer honoring Glenn Miller. They have bands come and play to keep the music alive.
Tell Snippy I do read the threads.
