Actually, we are lucky. We got about eight inches. Just a little south from us got twenty inches. Southern Indiana got thirty inches.
It's beautiful, and the roads around here have been cleared off. Hubby drove to my mom's and shoveled her out. She and the lass are dipping pretzels in chocolate. I've made the fudge and cookies. The ham is thawing. The good china is washed. I just have to cook the turkey and noodles tomorrow.

Hi snippy, I'll be having Pork Loin roast smothered in peppercorns, with a veggie mix. Fruit cake for dessert.
How about you?
To: Matthew Paul
Thank You Matthew for the pictures.

I really like your manger scene but would like to give you some advice. What ever you do, never, never dress up like a shepherd in a life sized manger scene that has manikins in it and hold real still and all of a sudden wave at a car going by at three o'clock in the morning. There is a possibility that you can panic the driver who may have had a little to much to drink who will swerve off the road, bounce over the side walk, and then hit the wall right in front of the church, putting a large crack in it.
Now I know this has never happened, but should you ever drive by the First Baptist Church in Lincolnton, GA and notice a large crack in the wall in front of the church. Remember, you have never read this story.
