Phil's note: Clinton had blown three offers of Osama from Sudan--though he denies it--years before the Cole bombing.

Per Miniter page 226, Cohen said the Cole bombing was "not sufficient provocation" for a retaliatory strike.

Besides, Clinton wasn't distracting from Monicagate as he was August 20, 1998.

Yemen was a hotbed of Islamist (marxist) activity--yet the Cole let a bomb be placed against its hull.

No bullets in the weapons, no challenge--"Gee, they were polite, they smiled, they saluted."

A Hellfire-armed Predator had clear video of Osama in Afghanistan on three of eleven flights September-October 2000 but Clinton, Albright, Berger, Freeh, Reno, Cohen demurred.

September 11 came and among its victims: John O'Neill, security head for the WTC--and Rick Rescorla--and Barbara Olson.

And Hitlary Rod 'Em bitched about the air quality.

Terrorism is such a nuisance to the Koppellian Demunists.
