Yes, he and my uncle were both "Lighter Than Air." There's a ZP reunion every couple of years in Pensacola; Dad's almost 70, and he's one of the youngest!

Sorry, that's one I haven't heard of. The big division among LTA guys is rigid-frame vs. inflatable :-).

Snippy and I visited the blimp hanger at Tillamook. It's an Air Museum now but they have great pictures and artifacts from the days of active duty.
