Makes the tank function as an armored, armed bulldozer. In Iraq we used them to break through berms, bury bunker entrances, fill anti tank ditches, etc.

Reading today's TreadHead Tuesday reminds me of something I've been meaning to ask you about tanks.
I have read the threads and tried to learn something on a very amateur level yet when we watched "The Beast" a few weeks ago it was a huge surprise to me to see the Russian's exiting their T-62 from underneath it!
All this reading and I had no idea. I remind myself there are no stupid questions so here goes;
Do all tanks have an exit underneath the body?
