I came in to watch the dedication ceremony for the WWII Memorial and decided I'm takin' a break this afternoon. Long overdue, huh? LOL!

Lovely very cool day here. Wind is whistling down from the North. Frost tonight in rural areas.

My brother stopped by for coffee and chit chat. We wandered around my back yard, he is jealous of my abundant fern crop.

FROST?!!!! In MAY??!!!! sheesh! We're sweltering down here. Not too bad today temp-wise but the humidity is HIGH. Looks like it could pour any second right now.

It must not be too bad up your way if your ferns are thriving. That, or those are some hardy ferns. LOL!

Aunt Clara has her good days and bad ones. Yesterday, she felt puny but she seems to feel a little better today. Overall, she's doing fairly well. I'll let her know you asked about her. It always puts a smile on her face.

Matthew Paul, I have FOXNEWS on all day today watching the opening ceremonies for the WWII Memorial, one of the guests on Fox was a retired Military person. The comment was made that if the US had not entered WWII who knows what kind of world we would all be living in.

I think that is so true.

It was horrible that Poland was forbidden to celebrate it heroes. That's what Communist do so well suppress the will of people and is a terrible thing to live under. Bondage to the state and state rule. Lord help us we have it here in our nation especially in our universities.
