Good morning Snippy, CholeraJoe.

Thanks for sharing your vacation with us. I've been aboard the USS Missouri but have yet to visit the USS ARIZONA. I'd definately take the Hardhat tour. When I visited we we only allowed on the bow and the deck where the surrender documents were signed.

Good job on the thread Snippy. I wasn't aware of any controversy about having the MISSOURI "share" Battleship Row with the Arizonia. My two cents is that the MISSOURI should stay where it is.

1980 Michael Bracey ends 59 hours 55 minutes trapped in an elevator, England

I can't imagine. I spent 25 minutes trapped alone and it was a nightmare!

Thanks CJ. I'll be randomly posting more of your pics throughout the day. It's going to be slow as is for our dial-up folks. Thanks go to Sam for it being well constructed, it's cuz he knows more than me about history. :-) Thanks to you for the idea and pictures.

You have a brother! What's his name, StraightFeather?

I'm glad he liked the thread and hope he comes back and reads more of them. Maybe he has some memories he could share.

ROTFLOL!!!!!!!!!!!! He will lurk most probably. He did love the planes. He asked me if I remembered when we lived in The Hallow when the sky would be black with planes going over, you know when he reminded me, I did remember.

We also had a CCC Camp down the road from us where German prisoners where held. They would march up the work in work gangs, and they would waved to my youngest brother and me. We always watched for them. The guards had guns, of course. They used to buy farm products from us.

BTW Sam, the youngest brother is Pinfeather!!!

ROTFLOL!!!!!!!!
