We've got a lot of OLD trees on the farm and high winds always leave a big mess to clean up. LOTS of limbs everywhere of all sizes.
Having been through a few hurricanes over the years while living close to the coast has given me a healthy respect for the damage they can do. Plus, we get tornados here. Can't win for losin', huh? LOL!

Sounds like we think alike, snippy.....we love warm weather! A yard full of water AND ice sounds like noooo fun at all.
Since I couldn't get on the 'net last night, I scanned some more pics I took of a place I lived at years ago in Raleigh. The whole place was a garden and was fabulous. Seeing all the pics (I have hundreds of them) really put me in the mood for spring. Here's what it looked like there in the summertime.
Now I really do need to head off to get errands run. Dang! But I'll be back later.

Thank you, Sam for coming over to FD, there is much to be shared between us:
There is a worldwide WAR ON TERRORISM happening right here and right now. Those who choose to close their eyes and not believe it will be those who support it happening in their own backyards, homes... THANK GOD FOR OUR TROOPS! Bin Laden is still out there, most likely in the mountains between Pakistan and Afghanistan, still directing TERRORIST actions against the west. Canada is our northern sister and must be concerned for her own sake. We must not forget 9/11! I went to ground zero six weeks after it happened.. Were you there?
