LOL. My mother put together model planes and hung them from her apartment ceiling with fishing line. It's too bad many don't have the models anymore. We can cover the different types ships, boats, tanks, etc on different days. We can have a day for discussing everyone's models and run a thread for each area. Great idea ken5050. Thanks.

The ones hanging from the ceiling collected dust..once a year my mom would tray and vacuum them..usually sucked all the small parts off...amazing how the world has changed...those models were our "window" ont he world, and history..today's kids have the net...do they still make the model kits?

They certainly still sell the kits but I don't know if it's kids or the adults building them. Maybe I will find out in my thread research.
