Snippy has been real good at saving the threads.
Unfortunately some of the older threads lost the pictures when the server we were using for graphics was no longer available to us.

Good Evening, Phil Dragoo.
Now we have a president whose dad flew a Dauntless opposed by Ted Kennedy whose dad thought Hitler was the cat's pajamas
And I wonder how many people know the Joe Kennedy was a Nazi sympathizer vs how many know Arnold's dad was a member of the party ?
Amazing how Hollywierd and the Press fawn over dictator's and consider Conservative's a threat.

Oh, yes, something I'm all too familiar with with the research I've been doing on media bias all these years.:-D
Thanks Phil for the observations.

Are you archiving these articles? Good morning,
Yep, I am archiving them.
Without warning our previous web host server quit on us and the link to the pictures was gone. Luckily 95 percent of the pictures and graphics were stored in seperate folders on my hard drive with 100 percent of the text of each thread in another set of folders. Of course we have since moved to a more reliable provider.
We plan on rebuilding some of the more interesting threads with possibly one day a week set aside for a Foxhole "revisited" theme. This will begin during our second year. (Our 1st year anniversary is December 6th). This will not only enable us to restore some of the more interesting threads but also add to them as we see the need.
Thank you for the compliment on the work SAM and I and our contributors do at the FReeper Foxhole.
We are thankful for your fathers service as well as yours.
:)

Good morning Phil. No funnies in this post.
The bit about Disney and other studios not offering a dime to the WWII memorial should be shouted from the rooftops to the sheeple who still support their ilk.
As far as the traitor, lethal force wouldn't be a bad thing.
Thanks as always for your insightful commentary at the Foxhole.

Morning Colonel Flagg. You getting "settled in"? You might be surprised. Everything's out of the boxes already!
I've got a downstairs and a real den for the first time in my life. We're calling it "the shrine", containing all my WWII reference material and wargames, and I'm having a 32x70 gaming table custom-built for my ASL play. My room's got easy chairs, satellite TV, DVD and even an adjacent bathroom. All I need is a fridge and I'd never have to leave :)
Yeah, I like my house!

Well, aren't you a charmer! :)
Also went to the ortho yesterday. Gonna need some knee surgery. That isn't fun, but brightening a friend's day is a much better use of my time!

Snow's gone. Now switched over to rain. Better than the white stuff, I guess.

Sorry to hear about the knee surgery. Will it at least buy you some time off work? A couple of days, maybe. The mental health time will be the most needed part of it. I can use a rest.

real den for the first time in my life Sigh! When we moved to Oregon we finally had a room I used as a den, put in all the wiring I needed, one wall of bookshelves and the lighting I liked, but gave it up after about a year so my daughters could each have their own bedroom.
So I use the family room for the computer, I'd kill for my den back. OH well two more years and she's out of college adn I get my den back.
Enjoy your den, I envy you.

Guess what, guys? The cold front came in early and we have snow showers, fog and cold temps. The firefighters are quickly getting the fires under control. The evacuees are going home. Hooah!

Alger Hiss was a traitor who consistently lied, even after his perjury conviction. After Venona even most liberals gave up lying for that POS.
"Pearl Harbor" was pure crap. When the story line managed to be coherent it was stupid. And I just couldn't stomach a traitor like Alec Baldwin playing a hero like Gen. Doolittle. I will give the movie this, however, the special effects of the Japanese attack were spectacular. Pass on this and rent "Tora Tora Tora" instead.
General Grant just said more bluntly and and eloquently what President Bush said, "you're either with us or with the terrorists." A lot of so-called Americans have decided they're with the terrorists.
