I can recall at least six or seven conversations that involved paying for school. A common question is “how much financial aid do you get?” My answer is always that I do not apply for it. People then ask why and I explain it to them. ... This has been a successful approach for me. This is purely anecdotal, but if I can do it, why can’t everyone else?

Well, the idea that some authority will decide what someone's "fair share" of "taxes" is amounts to unqualified socialism in its purest form anyway.

BTW, what does RLC mean?

As for the top 1% paying that much I don't care because that demographic vote libral anyway.
