Shouldn’t it be up to the people of SC? Funny, I did not see 1 Obama sticker once I crossed the state line nor the whole week I was there. By the time Obama and the dems get through with us, I’d say it will be a miracle to get a dem for Gov.

Shouldn’t it be up to the people of SC? Absolutely. If the people the SC want their state run by someone who disappears on a multi-day secretive international trip on Fathers' Day weekend to carry out an affair and think no one will notice and, further, that no one needs to know where the governor is - then so be it.
