The ALRA was formed to promote conservative values but RP is not a conservative.

ALRA What's this three guys and a Fictitious Business Statement?
To: FreeInWV
The ALRA is an affiliate of the National Federation of Republican Assemblies (NFRA), known as the Republican Wing of the Republican Party. Ronald Reagan once referred to the NFRA as "the conscience of the Republican Party."....The NFRA was founded in 1997 Someone needs to do some fact-checking on this article unless we have another situation like the VFW 'endorsement' embarrassment.

..well this is interesting.. in addition to the odd dates in relation to Reagan quote, there is absolutely nothing on the ARLA website nor on the website of the Alabama Eagle Forum regarding the staw poll or endorsement.
http://www.al-ra.org/ There also is nothing on the national site about this:

They must have come up withthis while sitting around smoking pot they hope will become legal with RP in the Oval Office.
Either that, or they are so sick of the current slate of candidates that they are challenging the RNC...

It appears the ARLA web site hasn’t been updated in a VERY long time... Front page news is an announcement of an upcoming meeting on September 6, 2006....

The Alabama Republican Assembly is in no way associated with the Alabama Republican Party.

Nothing on this from the Alabama GOP either. I can’t even find an announcement of this straw poll ever happening. Hmmmm.... Something smells like either the VFW endorsement or that ‘straw poll’ in New Jersey that ended up being twenty bloggers giving their opinion.

The Alabama Republican Assembly is a grass-roots volunteer organization chartered by the National Federation of Republican Assemblies. The NFRA was founded in 1997 to promote conservative principles which have made America the most revered nation in the world.

Just what we need in a candidate ... a man with a lot of crazy ideas that have no hope of actually being enacted. Thanks, Alabama Republican Assembly.
