I don’t disagree with you much. Ron Paul does however. If elected President his goal would be to bring the troops home as quickly as possible. I would hope another person would decide that the best course of action would be to win as quickly as possible.

The problem is that, having not had the foresight to unite the country behind a declaration of war, not on terror but on Islam, we cannot now travel back in time and undo the mistake. Without that, the MSM and the left will join the Islamists in sniping us until we withdraw, just as the press joined the VC in the 60s and 70s.
